I recommend you always getting my releases of my uploads in the forums above, because sometimes I release fixes or re-launch some games that have problems. If you get my uploads you'll be sure of having the latest releases. Additionally, you'll get the original package, not images made from discs, so you'll be sure that nothing is corrupted. =================================================================================================== --------------------- Plasma Sword (NTSC-U) --------------------- Ripped: Most CDDA tracks edited. Downsampled: C***OM opening sound 44khz stereo -> 32khz stereo. If you need to apply any patch, do it in the unpacked .cdi file, not in the .ecm file. ================== This game was huge: ~87 minutes of CDDA music. The music itself wouldn't fit a CD-R, now imagine it with the game files. Echelon decided to rip some tracks and re-link them to others. The guy that asked me for this release said that the same song played every stage, what looks like a real bad thing. I took the CDDA editing approuch. I must admit I didn't think it was a good idea at start, because according to my math I would have to cut about 34 minutes of music. I almost gave up this project, but decided later to give it a try. I managed to make very wise cuts: stage songs now have ~2 minutes (originally 3+ minutes) and ending songs should be long enough to play until the end of the animation. Note that every song will end with fade out and they will repeat correctly after it ends, just like the original tracks. I couldn't test this game in every possible situation, but I'm pretty sure it will work fine in every circustance. If you play it for some time, please send me a feedback message. I wasted 3 discs (and a lot of time) until I could find the correct way to crack the CDDA in this game. Usual cdda.exe will make game freezes after C****M logo in the real console, and for some reason not in emulators. Fortunately I could make it work. This game won't work with VGA-Box. I've enabled the VGA flag but the game just refuses to output VGA signal. Well, the graphics are terrible anyway... PAL users, this game will boot in 60hz on your consoles. Another release to make you happy. DCRES: keeping the dream alive. Features of my release: - Every single song avaliable. - Not corrupted files at all, it was made with GD dump files. - Used custom DCRES optimization techniques. It means faster loadings and less Dreamcast reader noise. - Selfboot. About the game: - It has VGA Box support. Other comments: - "Extras" folder in the pack contains some useless stuff. - Release comes with covers (low quality).
